Dr. Shreya Vaishnav is a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor and receives supervision under Dr. Thomas Lucking. Shreya has experience working in various clinical settings, including college counseling centers and hospitals. She also has years of clinical experience working with diverse populations, including immigrants, refugees, and international students.

Shreya identifies as a first-generation Indian immigrant and migrated from Mumbai, India about 11 years ago. As an immigrant and a woman of color, she is familiar with struggles related to moving to a new country, experiencing cross-cultural and identity related concerns, navigating experiences of discrimination in interpersonal relationships and in the workplace. She has worked with children, teenagers, young adults, and adults experiencing a wide variety of concerns including relationship issues, gender identity, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, trauma, and many more. Shreya has a warm, empathic, and a non-judgmental approach to working with her clients.

Dr. Vaishnav is also a full time Visiting Assistant Professor at the master’s in counseling program at Palo Alto University where she trains students to develop into culturally responsive and inclusive counselors in the profession.
